Emery promotes eight

Macclesfield-based Emery Planning has promoted eight members of its team, in recognition of their "achievement and commitment".

John Coxon and Helen Leggett, previously principal consultants, became associate directors; Nick Smith and Ben Pycroft became principal consultants; Gareth Salthouse and Paul Forshaw became senior consultants; Shaun Gaffey, assistant consultant and Emma Bennion, business manager.

Emery Planning is one of the largest, independent planning consultancies in the North West with a nationwide client base. The firm has a team of 17 chartered town planning consultants together with support staff.

Emery Planning recently advised Emerson Group on its appeal against Cheshire East Council for 95 homes in Alsager. The firm also advised Himor on its Wigan development plans.
