Electronics firm relocates in Stockport

The Manchester industrial team at Jones Lang LaSalle has advised on a 25,963 sq ft letting at BP Investment Management's Castlehill Industrial Estate in Bredbury to electronics manufacturer Darlington EMS.

The firm has signed a 10-year lease to relocate from its current premises at Offerton Industrial Estate in Stockport to the refurbished unit.

Darlington EMS is the third new occupier at Castlehill in the past 18 months, following a 22,573 sq ft letting to global engineering business James Walker Townson and 26,896 sq ft to the Pilkington Group. There is one unit of 12,000 sq ft remaining to let, in Horsfield Way.

Mark Sillitoe, associate director at Jones Lang LaSalle, said: "It is no surprise that Castlehill is continuing to prove popular, as occupiers will always be interested in high quality accommodation on well-managed estates with excellent motorway access."

Castlehill Industrial Estate comprises nine units totalling approximately 150,000 sq ft.

Jones Lang LaSalle and Impey & Co are joint agents for the site.
