Edward Symmons appointed to sell Monk Furniture assets

Baker Tilly, liquidators of Cheshire-based Monk Furniture UK, has appointed Edward Symmons to auction the business's assets.
The auction will see the sale of a number of specialist woodworking machines including saws, sanders and jointers, as well as a fork lift truck and various items of office furniture.
The online auction is being run through Bidspotter and will close at 2pm on Wednesday 19 January. The items go on view at Monk Furniture's premises on Cottage Street, Macclesfield on Tuesday 18 January.
Ben Lynch, partner at Edward Symmons in Manchester, said: "Specialist second-hand machinery of this sort is rarely available on the market and we anticipate it may attract national and potentially international interest as a result."
