Edge Hill picks architects for framework

Edge Hill University has named ABW, Brock Carmichael and NJSR to its architectural advisory panel for the next four years.

The framework will be used to support the university's estates strategy for delivering new and refurbished buildings.

The works likely to take place between 2013 and 2017 include the development of a new sports centre, residential halls of residence, academic buildings, administration buildings, a new library building and the refurbishment of existing university facilities.

It is estimated the construction value of projects to be undertaken for the Ormskirk-based university will be around £60m.

ABW Architects is based in Liverpool, NJSR Chartered Architects in Old Trafford, and Brock Carmichael Architects in Liverpool.
