Eddy Cottrell launches his own agency

Former Kenneymoore partner Eddy Cottrell has established a new practice, Cottrell Commercial, based in Frodsham, Cheshire.

Cottrell will cover all aspects of agency and professional work with a bias towards the retail and commercial markets throughout the north of England and Wales.

Cottrell said: "The formation of Cottrell Commercial has been a long-standing ambition of mine, and whilst many might question the timing, I believe there is terrific scope for a back-to-basics approach to our business, which will place us in a great position as the confidence gradually returns to the market. I am looking forward to driving the new venture with all my energies and passion for this business."

Cottrell, who is also a former director of DTZ, acted for a range of clients over the past 20 years, from private individuals through to major institutions and pension funds. He has acted on a range of shopping centres and retail parks and represented Blackpool Council as project manager for the Houndshill Shopping Centre extension by Modus in recent years.
