Eddisons hires from Atlas One

The chartered surveyor has hired four senior members of staff to its valuation team, all of whom formerly worked at Atlas One.

Atlas One was a Wilmslow-based company which ceased trading in September. At Eddisons, each person has been hired into an equivalent role. Matt Silas and James Stavely who headed Atlas One are directors, Dan Sidlow is an associate director and Thomas Sztejer is a senior surveyor.

The four will join the Manchester-based valuation department and work with lenders and property across the North of England.

Phil Deakin, who heads Eddisons’ northern valuation division, said: “Atlas One have built an excellent reputation, particularly for real estate valuation services, over the course of the last 10 years. We are delighted to welcome the team on board and there are a number of synergies to be capitalised upon and clients in common.

“These four new appointments bring Eddisons’ team of dedicated senior valuation surveyors across the North of England to more than 20 and we are able to offer clients unparalleled expertise and geographic coverage across a broad range of property sectors.

“This latest recruitment continues our growth over the last four years, which has seen the business expand through strategic acquisitions and hires of key senior staff. We look forward to developing further opportunities over the coming months.”
