Eddisons grows Manchester office

Consultancy Eddisons has bolstered its Manchester office with a series of appointments and by promoting director Phil Deakin to the new role of head of valuations for the North.

Deakin will head the valuations team across the firm’s Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds offices.

The Manchester team has been joined this month by associate director Steve Tasker, who has arrived from Bruton Knowles, and was previously an associate director with JLL and GVA. A specialist in the alternatives and licenced leisure markets, he is a RICS-registered valuer.

Thomas Weinmann has joined Eddisons as an associate director in the firm’s building and project consultancy team, which has recently secured £15m of Government-funded building and improvement projects for schools across the UK.

Weinmann was previously a senior chartered building surveyor at architect Cassidy + Ashton in Chester. His sector experience includes schools projects and work for the University of Liverpool.

The building team has also welcomed graduate Ritson Carr, while another graduate, Megan Roe, has moved to the Manchester valuations team from Eddisons’ agency team in Bradford as she continues to train towards her RICS professional APC qualification.

Deakin said: “Our valuations, and building and project consultancy teams are substantial contributors to the wider Eddisons business and they continue to grow following some significant new business wins.

“We are really pleased to be welcoming new talented professionals to the Manchester office, which will enable us to build on the growth Eddisons has seen over the last year, with further recruitment plans in the pipeline.”
