Echo to promote Spinningfields

Allied London Properties has appointed the new Manchester-based agency to handle public relations activity for its Spinningfields development in the city.

Echo Public Relations was set up by Anoushka Done and Kat Atakuru, who both previously worked at SKV Communications.

They will work alongside Spinningfields' in-house marketing team to deliver a public relations, events and marketing strategy for both the Spinningfields estate and the retail element The Avenue.

Retailers on The Avenue include Emporio Armani, Calvin Klein, Oliver Sweeney, Flannels, Mulberry, Kurt Geiger, LK Bennett, All Saints, Flannels, Brooks Brothers, Phillip Stoner, Nicholas Jones and Nicky Clarke. DKNY Menswear and Ted Baker Pashion will open stores later this summer.

Done said: "Spinningfields has already established itself as a key city centre business and leisure destination. Our brief is to reinforce and further enhance that message, promote the public realm to brands for consumer and business focused marketing activity, while launching The Avenue on a regional and national stage."
