DTZ graduate intake increases

The surveyor this week welcomed 42 new graduates to its UK offices including four in Manchester.

DTZ in London hired 25 graduates, whilst a further 17 are based in DTZ's network of UK regional offices; four in Birmingham, one in Bristol, one in Cardiff, Cheltenham gets two, as does Edinburgh, and Leeds has three.

Joining DTZ's Manchester industrial agency team is Victoria Berryman, whilst Daniel Barnes joins office agency and Peter Briggs and Jonathan Brown both join the residential team.

Last year there were 25 graduates to join DTZ in the UK, with two in Manchester.

Mike Mitchell, managing director of DTZ's regions outside London, said: "This year DTZ is taking on more graduates than last and we are delighted to welcome this year's intake. Investing in our emerging talent is essential and we have an excellent platform of opportunity for those that aspire to succeed. This is a significant strand in our plan for growth in the UK business."

Richard Farrall, global recruitment manager, based in Manchester, said: "DTZ has an industry-leading graduate development programme. The programme provides management and leadership training and experience, as well as the essential professional training that they need."
