DSG doubles Bolton team

DSG Quantity Surveyors has expanded its office in Bolton with the appointment of three new members of staff and a PR consultant.

Mark Wood moved from IGS as managing surveyor, and will head up the surveying team. He is joined by Greg Wood from DSL Associates as quantity surveyor, and Will Cheung from Ventorex as junior surveyor. Claire Hextall, formerly of Muse Developments, has been appointed marketing and PR consultant and will work in the office part-time.

DSG was established in 2007. The Bolton office opened in April 2013 and is headed up by former Gleeds associate director Bernadette Lord. There are now seven people in the office including the new hires.

Lord said: "It's been a particular busy 12 months, and we now have the right team in place to make DSG one of the leading quantity surveying practices in the region. With the market improving and the skills there to realise our aspirations we're looking forward to the future."

Clients include Morgan Sindall, Kier and Carillion. The firm specialises in building information modelling work.
