Dooleys launches health projects division

Manchester-based independent quantity surveyor Dooley Associates has launched a project services division to tackle the new Construction Design & Management Health & Safety Regulations, which came into force last year.

Dooleys will advise clients on the implications of the new regulations to manage risk and compliance.

Paul Jasper joined Dooleys in November 2007 as a director from PCM Safety, part of the Pettifer Group. Before that he worked at MACE. He commented: "The market has changed in that companies that were traditionally delivering a health and safety service have backed away since the new regulations came into force. Due to our detailed understanding of the new regulations, Dooleys is well placed to fill the recent gap in the market."

Brendan Dooley, managing director of Dooleys, added: "The decision to create a project services division was market-driven opposite new health and safety regulations. Paul Jasper's experience is fantastic in this area, which touches all stages of the construction process. Dooleys has grown dramatically since its formation five years ago and this new offer provides additional strength to our client services."
