Distribution firm signs in Rochdale

On behalf of J&M Property Management, WHR Property Consultants has secured a new tenant on a 10-year lease for a 14,611 sq ft unit at Phoenix Close, Green Lane Industrial Estate, Heywood.
Trust Distribution agreed a rental of £4.75/sq ft with an option to purchase at £50/sq ft.
John Barton at WHR said: "Our client was keen to achieve a quick result on this property and we were successful in securing a deal before the marketing boards had even been erected.
"This is the most recent of several significant industrial deals that we have completed in the Rochdale area this year and it reinforces our belief that there is a continued strong demand for good quality accommodation in this location."
