Residential developer DeTrafford has unveiled plans for three towers, the tallest of 32 storeys, alongside Renaker’s emerging Owen Street cluster at the southern end of Deansgate, Manchester.
The Great Jackson Street development would contain 399 apartments in three blocks, of 32, 28 and 16 storeys, rising above a series of townhouses and shops at ground floor level.
The project team is Paul Butler Associates for planning advice and the architects are SimpsonHaugh & Partners.
The site is between Owen Street, where Renaker is on site with towers up to 66 storeys tall, Deansgate and the Mancunian Way next to the footbridge into Hulme Park.
Nearby, DeTrafford has several sites at varying stages of planning and development along the Chester Road corridor into Trafford.
DeTrafford held a pre-planning consultation event yesterday and said it will continue to work closely with Manchester City Council to finalise plans before submission.
