The full list of development sites put forward for inclusion in the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework has been published, totaling almost 24,000 acres of land.
As part of the preparation of the first draft of the framework, which is due to be published in October, the Greater Manchester Combined Authority has asked landowners, developers and interest groups to suggest development sites. The lists published are split between the sites suggested in winter and spring.

While the call for sites remains open, after today GMCA said there is no guarantee that any further plots submitted will be included in the first draft, but will be considered at future stages of the GMSF as it progresses towards publication, and then submission in 2018.
GMCA has also published an updated online map which outlines the plots across the 10 Greater Manchester local authorities.
Decisions on whether sites will be supported as part of the city region’s 20-year development plan will be made as part of the ongoing consultation into the framework.
The list of suggested sites includes submissions from Peel Holdings, Harworth Estates, Property Alliance Group, Story Homes, Himor Group and Taylor Wimpey.
Across the 10 local authorities, the following number of sites have been put forward, which overall equates to 23,798 acres of development land:
