Design team picked for Lancashire university extension

Curtins Consulting has been selected to work on a £10m scheme at the University of Central Lancashire.

The Structural engineering firm will form part of a design team working on the two buildings based at the university's Preston campus.

The projects will involve an extension to the University's Computing & Technology building and extension of a building housing laboratory facilities.

All work is expected to be completed by 2010.

Gardiner & Theobald, Sheppard Robson, ADP Architects, and Hoare Lea, will join Curtins on the design team appointed for both projects.
