Delaney joins Aaron & Partners

Chester legal practice Aaron & Partners has appointed David Delaney as partner and head of planning.

Delaney advises clients on issues arising on nationally significant planning projects such as wind farms, housing development schemes, retail developments and compulsory purchase matters.

He also advises on other planning and development related issues and is an expert on town and village green law.

A member of the Compulsory Purchase Association, Delaney has worked with clients including house builders, utilities, energy providers and local authorities.

Aaron & Partners chief executive Andy Duxbury said: "Aaron's planning department is extremely well regarded and this enviable reputation will be further bolstered by David's appointment.

"It's a really exciting time for the firm. We have a great financial base, we're profitable and we continue to invest from a position of strength including the recent acquisition of a commercial practice in Shrewsbury."

Delaney previously worked for Pannone LLP and Field Cunningham & Co in Manchester, as well as several local authorities including Rochdale and Bradford.

He said: "My passion is helping my clients to overcome or resolve planning issues and I am really pleased to be able to fulfil this at such a well-respected firm as Aaron & Partners."

Aaron & Partners has offices in Chester, Manchester and Shrewsbury.
