DCM3 hires SimpsonHaugh partner
Richard Jackson has joined the specification consultancy as a director, after seven years as the commercial partner for SimpsonHaugh and Partners.
Jackson began his role with DCM3 last week. He is tasked with strengthening the start-up’s leadership team and opening a Manchester office for the company.
Before his time with SimpsonHaugh, Jackson was an equity partner with Davis Langdon and AECOM.
DCM3 founding director Craig Brown said he was “very pleased” to add Jackson to the team.
“As a recognised name in the world of specification consulting, it is great to have his extensive knowledge and experience in the business,” Brown said.
“We have exciting expansion plans and opening a Manchester ‘hub’ is a key step for us to service our valued clients in the North.
“At DCM3, we have taken our expertise and knowledge of providing specifications for architects and combined it with our passion for technology to make a previous analogue service fully digital,” Brown continued. “This service is being embraced by our clients as the need for integrated BIM design on construction projects is ever-increasing.”
Jackson voiced his excitement for the new role.
“I see DCM3 as providing a real step-change in the world of specification consulting and so I was delighted to accept their offer to join and help build a fantastic client-focused independent business,” he said. “I’m really looking forward to getting out to meet our clients and working alongside my old friends and colleagues.”
Great news.
