Davis and George to leave CBRE

Senior industrial agents Tom Davis and Howard George have resigned from CB Richard Ellis following the end of an earn-out period related to the sale of their agency in 2007.

The pair are still working at CBRE but are due to leave before the end of this year.

DGI Davis George was founded in 1996 and grew over ten years to become arguably the dominant industrial niche practice in the region from its base in Warrington.

At CBRE, Davis and George continued to advise on some of the biggest industrial deals in the region, including the 618,000 sq ft B&M Retail move to Speke and 240,000 sq ft to Interserve at Pioneer Point in Ellesmere Point in the past year.

CBRE's acquisition of DGI Davis George in 2007 was followed a year later by the takeover of Irving Rice, an independent agency in Liverpool headed by Malcolm Irving and Nick Rice.

All parties declined to comment.
