Davis and George depart B8RE with best wishes

Specialist industrial agency B8 Real Estate has completed a restructuring of the business as former partners Tom Davis and Howard George reach the end of their consultancy period.

Davis and George sold their shares in the Warrington-based business a year ago and stepped away from full-time involvement in the firm.

Simon Wood, Steve Johnson and Jon Thorne will continue to run the eight-strong team.

Investment director Wood said: “I have worked with Tom and Howard for over 15 years and it is obviously sad to see them leave. I would like to thank them for all their support and encouragement over the many years I have worked with them.

“This strategy has been planned for a long time, we have a brilliant team and fantastic clients at B8 and hope to continue with our successes for many years to come.”

George, who will continue in his role as a non-executive director at developer Network Space, said: “It was always the gameplan for Tom and I to take a back seat after a number of years. We are delighted that the company has become so strong and I personally am looking forward to a change of direction.”

B8RE was established in 2011 after Davis and George left CBRE following a three-year earn-out period that resulted from the 2007 acquisition of DGI Davis George.

The agency’s clients include Columbia Threadneedle, Royal London, M&G, Marshall CDP, Ventnor Group, PIN Property, Harworth and Redsun Developments. It continues to be involved in many of the region’s largest industrial deals.
