David Guest funeral details confirmed

The funeral service for David Guest will be held at Gorton Monastery at midday on Monday 12 February. His family would welcome all who knew him to join them for the service.

The family’s message to friends, contacts and colleagues of David’s is as follows:

Husband to Susan, daddy to Olive and Robyn, son to Kathy and Mike and brother to Sally and Richard.

David’s funeral service will be held at Gorton Monastery on Monday 12th February at 12pm. Arrival can be from 11.15am. All are welcome. On arrival please sign the visitors’ books as David’s family would like to have a record of everyone attending. For directions and map click here.

After the service, there will be a private burial in Chorlton to be attended by family members only.

Everyone else is welcome to make their way to the wake at Chorlton Irish Club, 17 High Lane, Chorlton, Manchester, M21 9DJ.

David’s family have requested that you don’t bring flowers. If instead you would like to make a donation in his memory please make it for a charity close to his heart: Headway Warrington. Donations can be posted to Natural Endings Funeral Services, dropped into the donations box at the Monastery or made online through David’s JustGiving page. Any cheques should be made out to ‘Headway Warrington’.

David died suddenly on 21 January. He was a well-known and popular figure in North West property for many years, having worked at Mason Owen, Bruntwood and BizSpace.

I didn’t know David personally but knew of him through the property industry and a friend of mine works at Bizspace.
Thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues, at such a difficult time.
