Curtins linked with Bingham Davis takeover

Liverpool-based Curtins Consulting is rumoured to be in talks over acquiring the assets of smaller rival structural engineer Bingham Davis, which fell into liquidation this month.

The deal being discussed would see Tim Bingham, director and shareholder in Bingham Davis, move to Curtins Consulting.

Begbies Traynor was appointed insolvency practitioner to try and find a buyer for Bingham Davis. It is not known whether other staff at the ten-strong firm would also move to Curtins if a deal is agreed.

All parties declined to comment.
