Cundall hires engineering director

Bill Wilkins has been appointed associate director in the consultancy’ s Manchester office, where he will head up the civil engineering team.

Prior to his appointment, Wilkins was an associate civil engineer at Arup. He has particular expertise in the design and delivery of brownfield site developments, estates masterplanning and city-centre regeneration schemes. He has more than 23 years’ experience in the building sector.

His predecessor at Cundall is Geoff Carter, who retired at the end of 2019.

Wilkins said: “Over the past 23 years I have been fortunate to have helped deliver a number of high-profile projects and am extremely proud of some of the schemes I have been involved in, especially the ones that I still pass every day such as St Peter’s Square.”

Cundall will head a team of 65 staff in Manchester.
