Cubitt House up for sale

Sutton Kersh said its final auction of the year will see 51 lots go under the hammer.

The Liverpool-based auctioneer is offering Cubitt House, located on Hope Street in the city centre, at its next sale.

The commercial investment opportunity, which is currently let to 60 Hope Street, trading as Host, provides a large restaurant area on the ground floor with ancillary accommodation and storage in the basement.

The property currently generates £70,000 a year in rent and the next upwards only five year rent review is due to take place in June 2013.

This is a long leasehold investment that possesses valuable planning consent and is guided at £700,000. Sutton Kersh did not disclose the name of the vendor.

Sutton Kersh said the opening lot of the day is already attracting a high level of interest from investors.

Beacon Hill House is a Grade II-listed detached building on Beaconsfield Road in Woolton. Subject to the necessary planning consents being obtained, the building is suitable for redevelopment or refurbishment for a variety of uses including conversion in to a single dwelling, apartments or offices. The building is arranged over four storeys and the site extends to approximately 16,000 sq ft. The lot carries a guide price of £325,000.

Also included in the catalogue is an opportunity to acquire a plot of land situated between Vale Road and Quarry Street in Woolton, Liverpool.
