Cubic Motion relocates to Enterprise House

The animation company has taken office space on Manchester Science Parks' 23-acre Corridor site, off Oxford Road in Manchester city centre.

Cubic Motion has taken space in Enterprise House on a three year lease for an undisclosed rent.

Moving from the Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus in Cheshire, Cubic Motion cited Manchester Science Parks' city centre location and high speed connectivity as key reasons behind the decision to relocate.

Doug Tate, operations director at Cubic Motion, said: "For us, MSP is ideally located – in Manchester city centre, at the north-western hub of England's optical fibre network and right next to two of the best universities in the North West, where we recruit many of our talented young staff from.

"We have experienced consistent growth since the company's inception in 2009. Our aim is to keep building the business organically by developing better, faster animation technologies and I believe the best place for us to do this is here at MSP."

The company has 20 staff members and works internationally, with a second office in Canada.

Cubic Motion installs tools and technologies, often developed in-house, to produce performance driven facial animation, used in television, film and the gaming industry.

Manchester Science Park is located between Manchester University and the residential communities of Hulme.
