Crewe business to build new office

HOW Planning has secured consent on behalf of Swansway Garages for a 13,200 sq ft office development at Crewe Gateway on Crewe Business Park.

The new office will become home to EMaC, a car service plan provider and part of the family-owned Swansway Group.

EMaC are currently based at EMaC House, Crewe Gateway and plans to double its staff number from 50 to 100 after it moves.

Jon Suckley, associate at HOW Planning, based in Manchester, said: "This is a great result which will provide additional employment opportunities and enable EMaC to invest in their future development and long term security. Furthermore, the new development will be located in a sustainable location at Crewe Gateway within Crewe Business Park. We are delighted with this positive outcome."

The application incorporates full planning permission for a three-storey office building with associated car parking, access and landscaping arrangements.
