CPUK completes Lingley amenity centre build
CPUK has completed construction of the new 7,500 sq ft amenity building at Warrington's Lingley Mere Business Park, a joint venture between United Utilities and Muse Developments.
It will be occupied by catering specialist Autograph, part of the Initial Group.
The amenity building will offer hot and cold food, a Costa coffee shop, a cash point and meeting space with wireless internet connection. The architect was Christian Gilham of Leach Rhodes Walker.
The new facility is situated in the centre of the development between the park's two lakes. It incorporates an elevation of curved glazing to maximise the south-facing view of the surroundings and also features an extended 'brise-soleil', where people can sit outside.
Wes Erlam, senior development surveyor at Muse Developments, said: "The building has been designed to complement the natural surroundings of Lingley Mere and we are extremely pleased with the outcome."
Lingley Mere is adjacent to junction eight of the M62 and provides 380,000 sq ft of office accommodation.
It has outline planning consent for a further 400,000 sq ft of office space and 150,000 sq ft of distribution space.
Detailed planning consent is in place for an 18,000 sq ft Grade A office building.
Joint agents for Lingley Mere are GVA and Edwards & Co.
