Courses for women in construction being held at Salford Uni

University of Salford is holding a free developmental programme in September for women wanting to advance their careers in the construction industry.

The programme, titled Women in Construction Action Network, has been funded by the Women & Work: Sectors Pathways initiative.

The programme is aimed at all women wishing to develop a career in construction, whether they are new apprentices or women new to the industry.

The programme at University of Salford includes advice on:

  • Dealing with Difficult People
  • Dealing with Difficult People: Negotiating Skills
  • Effective Leadership

The programme is also running at venues in Wolverhampton and Leicester.
