Countrywide adds extra Newton-le-Willows auction date

Details of Countrywide Property Auctions next sale are now available with two taking place in Newton-le-Willows this month.

The nationwide auctioneer has added an extra date to its auction covering north England due to a rise in demand from private buyers in the auction room.

The additional auction taking place at Haydock Park Racecourse will happen on Thursday 19 November.

A total of 75 lots are available to buy, let or for re-sale with some needing refurbishment work. Out of the 75 lots, a total of 28 lots are available in the North West.

One of these is a property in Mersey Road, Widnes, with a guide price of £150,000-£155,000, comprising three rooms and two warehouses to the ground floor, which could be used for a small business or as flats. Planning permission was granted on 22 October 2007 by Halton Borough Council for change of use from commercial unit and first floor side extension to form five, two bedroom flats. Other properties are available in the following places:

  • Holmes, Crewe
  • Colne, Lancashire
  • Bacup, Lancashire
  • Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester
  • Caton, Lancashire
  • Warrington
  • Cheadle, Greater Manchester
  • Southport
  • Barnoldswick, Lancashire
  • Leigh, Greater Manchester
  • Preston
  • Lytham St Annes, Lancashire
  • Denton, Greater Manchester
  • Burnley
  • Leyland, Lancashire

As well as the additional date, the auction on Friday 13 November at Haydock Park Racecourse has 42 lots advertised with 18 lots still available to buy or for re-sale in the North West.

This has properties available in Liverpool, Blackpool, Blackburn, Tyldesley in Greater Manchester, Accrington, Kendal in Cumbria, and Salford.

The two Countrywide Property Auctions will also have properties for sale in Yorkshire, North Wales and the North East.
