Countryside in Birchwood move

The housebuilder has moved from Centre Park in Warrington town centre to 301 Bridgewater Place at Birchwood Park, taking 20,000 sq ft at the refurbished building.

Countryside moved in last month, becoming the first company to take up occupancy since the 41,425 sq ft building was revamped, with redesigned common areas and new air conditioning.

Martin O’Rourke, commercial director at Birchwood Park, said: ‘Birchwood Park has for over 20 years been recognised as the region’s leading out-of-town commercial development, and it’s exciting to continue to attract large, reputable companies such as Countryside Properties to the site.

“Ensuring that Birchwood Park remains at the forefront of the North West business scene and continues to move with the times is of utmost importance to us, and is why we have chosen to evolve its offering to ensure it can cater to the ever-changing business market.”

The park, which is now owned by Warrington Council and managed by Patrizia, was 20 years old in 2018. Since its inception, the park has almost tripled in size, providing 1.1m sq ft of commercial space and accommodating 165 businesses.
