Countryside homes approved in Oldham

Oldham Council has approved the construction of 124 houses in Chadderton, on a part-greenfield, part-brownfield site off Coalshaw Green Park.

The development by Countryside Properties and Kingsley Residential will see the homes built on the plot of the former Rose Mill, as well as on part of the Coalshaw Green Park playing pitch.

The scheme is made up of 34 two-bedrooms, 83 three-bedrooms, and seven four-bedroom homes, in a mix of tenures across affordable rent, shared ownership and private rent.

The playing pitches are due to be replaced at Granby Street.

Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners advised on the application.
