Council looks to appoint engineering firms to framework

Manchester City Council is seeking three structural engineering consultancy firms to provide design and consultancy services to assist with the development and implementation of projects in Greater Manchester.

The two-year contract forms part of a four-year framework agreement valued between £135,000 and £200,000.

There have been 26 contracts awarded through the framework during 2007-2008. The total fee spend was £34,000 which averages out at £1,500 per commission.

Deadline for submitting tenders is Tuesday 30 June.
