Council chamber to become Venmore sale room

Liverpool auctioneer, Venmore, will use the city's town hall as its auction venue from next month.

The company, which previously used the Hilton Hotel at Liverpool One, said it changed location because it was presented with the opportunity to use the town hall's council chamber.

Venmore's chief executive Rob Farnham said: "Our new venue is an excellent start to the New Year for Venmore and we are thrilled to be holding our future auctions in such an majestic city landmark.

"We are predicting a bright start to year with cash rich buyers beginning to have confidence in bricks and mortar again. With mortgage interest rates historically low, we hope that investors will capitalise on the many affordable deals available at our auctions and recognise that the property market can offer high yields on buy-to-let investments in the Merseyside."

Venmore is now accepting lots in preparation of its first auction of the year on Wednesday 15 February 2012 at 1pm. For more info go to www.venmoreauctions.co.uk.
