Core secures Totaljobs letting

Totaljobs has agreed to let the 8,700 sq ft second floor at the office on Brown Street, Manchester.

The 50,000 sq ft building has recently undergone a full refurbishment, with a project team including PRP Architects, Russells Construction, Tier Consult as the structural engineer and Reds as the M&E advisor.

Work.Life took 12,500 sq ft on the ground floor on a 10-year lease last year, for its first venue outside London and the South East.

Core was acquired from Himor for £6.5m by Boultbee Brooks Real Estate in April 2015.

Jonathan Cook, associate director at CBRE Manchester, said: “Since its comprehensive refurbishment, CORE has become one of Manchester’s most popular office buildings, appealing to tenants seeking a mix of modern office suites and collaborative workspaces.

“Core is built for the way we work now and the way we’ll work next with future proofed connectivity and is ideally positioned for occupiers to enjoy the mix of retail, dining and culture the city has to offer. We are also enjoying substantial interest in the remaining suites within the building.”

OBI is joint letting agent with CBRE. The latter worked on behalf of the building’s owner Boultbee Brooks.
