Conygar agrees deal with Claremont

Claremont Interior Solutions, part of Claremont Group Interiors, has acquired a two-storey 7,800 sq ft office building in Birchwood to expand its serviced office portfolio.

Claremont made its first move into the serviced office market in 2006 with the launch of The Breeze, a 6,500 sq ft office and meeting space within its main head office building, also in Birchwood.

The new building, renamed The Breeze at Carnoustie House, is located close to the first Breeze in Kelvin Close. There will be three meeting rooms and a range of flexible office suites for four people and above. Refurbishment work is schedule to start in August ready for tenant occupation in mid September.

Mike Gardner, director of Claremont Interior Solutions said: "We've always been keen to replicate our success with the Breeze, assuming we could find the right premises within Birchwood. Carnoustie House gives us the optimum square footage for our second venture and is close to our head office, which will allow for much more effective management of the new serviced space."

Claremont Interior Solutions has taken the long leasehold of Carnoustie House from Conygar Investment Company for an undisclosed price.

BE Group advised Claremont on the deal; Steve Widdowson of Magnus acted for Conygar Investment Company.
