Construction partner joins Kuits

The law firm has hired Charlie Tomlinson as its head of construction, engineering, and energy from infrastructure company Pennon Group.

Tomlinson joins after three years with utilities and infrastructure group Pennon, having previously worked for Manchester City Council and fellow law firm Weightmans.

During his career, he has provided construction advice on developments including Manchester’s First Street; Greengate Exchange in Salford; and The Factory arts centre, currently being built by Laing O’Rourke in Manchester city centre.

Tomlinson replaces Ben Connor, who has departed to join contractor and developer Watkin Jones.

Steve Eccleston, managing partner at Kuits, said: “Offering a strong commercial advisory service to our clients has always been a key priority for the firm and to welcome somebody new into the partnership of the calibre and experience of Charlie will undoubtedly reinforce our property sector expertise.”
