Consent for Belong Warrington

Care home provider Belong has been granted planning permission to build a village of six buildings for 12 residents each in Loushers Lane, Warrington.

The scheme was designed by Manchester-based architects Pozzoni, a specialist in designing for older people.

Pozzoni has worked with Belong to develop similar villages in Macclesfield,
Wigan, Crewe and Atherton.

As well as apartments and nursing facilities there will be a bistro, hair-and-beauty salon, well-being suite and community room which will be available to both residents and the wider community.

Damian Utton, partner at Pozzoni, said: "The design of Belong Warrington continues the
principles of creating innovative, cost-effective and non-institutional environments that meet the aims and aspirations of older people, helping them to stay healthy, active and stimulated."
