Colliers secures 10,500 sq ft letting in Sale
Floorbrite has taken a 10,500 sq ft unit at Sale’s Dane Road Industrial Estate, replacing previous occupier ABS Brymar which relocated to Chorley.
Floorbrite has taken Unit 10 at the site on a five-year lease at the business park, which sits next to Dane Road Metrolink stop near Cross Street in Sale. It was advised by Williams Sillitoe, and Colliers acted for ABS Brymar.
ABS Brymar retains the freehold of the site, but has moved to Chorley North Industrial Park after purchasing a 14,500 sq ft unit from Dickson & Seagrave Holdings in April this year.
Other occupiers at Dane Road include Protective Packaging and Palletower.
The deal is one of a number of deals secured by Colliers’ industrial team in recent months. In Eccles, Sovini Trade Suppliers has signed up at Langtree’s Lyntown Trading Estate, taking 5,400 sq ft; this deal means the estate of 20 industrial units is now fully occupied.
On behalf of HDAK, Colliers has also signed up Dancefloor Ltd to a 2,700 sq ft unit at Stowell Technical Park in Salford. The company has taken a three-year lease at £5.50/sq ft.
Nathan Khanverdi, industrial and logistics at the Manchester office of Colliers, said: “These deals reflect ongoing demand for small industrial units from ambitious and growing firms unaffected by Brexit-related uncertainty, causing investment decisions in other areas of the economy to be postponed.”
