Colliers hires head of flexible workspace

Colliers International has launched a flexible workspace offering in Manchester with the recruitment of Patrick Kennedy.

Kennedy previously worked at OBI where he was also head of its flexible workspace division. Prior to this, he was part of the business development arm at recruitment and design consultancy Morson Group.

He will be supported by the Manchester team, and provide advice to operators and occupiers of flexible workspaces in Greater Manchester, Liverpool and elsewhere in the North West.

Kennedy’s initial focus will be on Greater Manchester, but the longer-term strategy is to develop a flexible workspace team to cover other cities including Leeds, Birmingham and Bristol.

Kennedy said: “The relentless pace of the co-working sector across Greater Manchester, the North West, and elsewhere, shows no signs of slowing. Operators are constantly seeking additional space, while more and more employers are understanding the benefits of flexible workspaces as the working environment continues to evolve. I am excited to be joining the team at this pivotal stage in the company’s strategic growth.”

Dominic Pozzoni, director of national offices at the Manchester office of Colliers International, said: “The arrival of Patrick and his invaluable experience heralds the launch of our flexible workspace division to address the requirements of clients wanting to accommodate the major changes in the way we work by providing workspace options for themselves and their staff.”
