Colliers CRE Manchester appointed to OGC panel

Colliers CRE in Manchester has been appointed to the panel of consultants that acts for the Government's procurement department.

The company has been approved by the Office of Government Commerce as a preferred supplier on a four-year contract to conduct estates and commercial property work for public sector organisations.

OGC Buying Solutions is an executive agency of the Treasury and provides a professional procurement service to enable public sector organisations to deliver improved value for money in their commercial activities.

Mike Walker, head of the Colliers CRE office in Manchester, commented: "This appointment recognises the high quality property advice we provide and is a great opportunity for us to work with other authorities such as the police, health and fire services. Our expertise in specialist areas such as the health and leisure sectors will bring a new dimension for the OGC to call upon."

Other recent examples of public sector work conducted by the company include rent review advice to Liverpool City Council and general estate management work for the probation service in Manchester.
