Coffee producer takes final unit at Sandon Estate
Neighbourhood Coffee, a coffee production and distribution firm, has leased the last available space at the Derby Road industrial complex, a 3,200 sq ft unit.
The company has signed a 10-year lease and will pay £6.50/sq ft rent to investment firm LCP, the landlord of Sandon Estate.
The unit was previously occupied by SYBS Batteries, which distributes batteries and has sites in Leeds and Sheffield.
Andrew Cox, industrial asset manager at LCP, said it was “good news for the area that a growing business had moved to the industrial estate”.
“Considering everything we have experienced this year with the coronavirus pandemic, it’s great that this industrial estate continues to attract ambitious businesses that are keen to locate there,” he added,
Consultancy Mason Owen acted as lettings agent for LCP and Neighbourhood Coffee was unrepresented.
Louis Holt, surveyor at Mason Owen, said: “The location of this estate and its specification has proven to be extremely desirable for local businesses over the last couple of years.
The Sandon Estate comprises 21 units ranging from 2,700 sq ft to 5,600 sq ft.
