Cobalt tenders for housing repair work

Liverpool-based Cobalt Housing has published tenders for roof repair work and electrical upgrading across its housing stock in the city.

Together with Liverpool Housing Trust, Cobalt is seeking expressions of interest from companies able to provide roof repair work for both organisations' housing stock.

Roof repair services will be divided into three lots, one for Cobalt and two for LHT; and companies are invited to bid for one or more of the lots which will run for five years. The roof repair framework totals £8.1m.

One contractor will be appointed for the five-year electrical system upgrade contract, covering Cobalt premises only. The contract is worth £509,623.

Applicants for the electrical system upgrade contract have until 12pm on Thursday 21 April, while those interested in expressing an interest for the roof repair work have until the following Thursday 28 April at 12pm.

Liverpool-based Vicinity Housing Group is the parent company of Liverpool Housing Trust and Cobalt Housing.

Vicinity owns 17,500 homes in Merseyside, Cheshire and Lancashire.
