Coastal planning seminar being held in Morecambe

Local authority planners and other coastal stakeholders across the region are being invited to attend a coastal planning event in Morecambe for free.

The afternoon seminar includes guest speakers:

• Steve Collins – marine planning and coastal integration at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
• Greg Whitfield – marine protected area planner for Irish Sea Conservation Zones
• Danny Moores – regional coastal access officer at Natural England

The event is being funded by Wigan-based policy advisory body 4NW and organised by the North West Coastal Forum with the support of the RTPI North West Branch.

The seminar is being held at the Midland Hotel in Morecambe on Wednesday 3 February.
