Cluttons sets up Manchester office

The international firm of estate agents, chartered surveyors and property consultants has taken space at 76 King Street.

Charlie Ardern, a partner at Cluttons, will lead the Manchester team of eight – a number that’s expected to soon grow.

Ardern joined Cluttons from Avison Young and is leading the company’s northern valuation practice. The Manchester team also includes partner Ryan Jones, who is another former Avison Young employee. Jones will lead business rates in the north for Cluttons and empty rates mitigation nationally.

Other new recruits for Cluttons in Manchester include senior surveyor in valuation Sally Allsop, partner and head of networks estates management Darren Zitren, senior surveyor in compulsory purchase orders Josh Klepper, and recent graduate Georgie Park.

“The Manchester office has hit the ground running with experts from across the professional, management and building consultancy fields working on projects worth well over £100m already,” said Ardern.

“We are excited to welcome several new senior people to the team over the next few months and be able to replicate the successful model of our London office by working together to service clients better and offer them more across all sectors and disciplines.”
