Claremont completes Aegis office

Claremont Group Interiors has finished the design and fit-out of Aegis Global's first UK contact centre, in Bruntwood's City Tower in Manchester.

Warrington-based Claremont provided space planning, interior design, fit-out, furniture and audio visual solutions for the 18,000 sq ft office across floors nine and 11.

Claremont said it was given free rein to develop a design, look and feel that would best support Aegis' brand and objectives. A vibrant palette of oranges and reds was used to create a bright and airy office. Features include an illuminated archway in reception and AV technology to support Aegis' daily video conferencing requirements in the boardroom.

The new office provides space for 250 staff, representing the first phase of Aegis's Manchester centre, and demonstrates the company's commitment to the UK market.

Aegis is a Mumbai-headquartered business outsourcing giant, providing a vast range of back-office services for clients.

Sudhir Agarwal, president of Aegis Global said: "We're asking our clients to use our facilities and staff as an extension of their team so it's important that we mirror the facilities and spaces they occupy. This new office has far exceeded our hopes – it really is a world class facility for Aegis Global.

"From the outset Claremont Group Interiors understood and shared our vision. They've developed an environment which really showcases our commitment to the UK, prepares us for future growth and helps us to attract and retain the very best staff."

Tim Frankland, joint managing director of Claremont Group Interiors, said: "Aegis' arrival is a real success story for Manchester in terms of outward inward investment and job creation. This has been one of our most notable projects of the last six months and we've delighted to have helped Aegis establish its first presence in the UK."

Separately, Claremont is also on site completing a fit-out of the 12th and 13th floors of City Tower for Bruntwood.
