City West updates refurb framework

Salford-based social landlord City West Housing Trust plans to spend £215m refurbishing homes in the next four years, and will appoint up to 80 firms to a framework to carry out a diverse programme of works.

There are nine lots in the framework from renewable energy installation to roofing and internal works.

The trust's portfolio covers 31 neighbourhoods. A separate framework tender process is underway for new-build developments. The organisation plans to spend £900m in the next 30 years.

Deadline for expression of interest is 2 November.
