Chorlton Street redevelopment site on market

CBRE and Avid have been appointed by the LPA Receiver, Steven Kay at Waterfold Asset Management, to market 40 Chorlton Street in Manchester city centre, formerly home to Mash & Air restaurant and Jongleurs Comedy Club.

The 15,580 sq ft warehouse could be extended to 21,200 sq ft by an infill to the fourth floor and constructing an additional fifth storey.

Nick Huddleston of CBRE and Justin Rouse of Avid said: "40 Chorlton Street offers a fantastic and unique development opportunity to create a new destination in Manchester's Village Quarter. The building has been stripped to a virtual shell, ready to be transformed by an imaginative refurbishment and owing to its location and versatility; it can accommodate a wide variety of uses."
