Chill Factore appoints new chief executive

Manchester's indoor ski and leisure venue has named Morwenna Angove as its new chief executive.

Following the appointment of Martin Leppard as chairman of Chill Factore, Angove joins from Alton Towers Resort where she was sales and marketing director for three years at the attraction.

She takes up her post at Chill Factore with immediate effect and will work together with current chief executive Stephen Evans until the end of the year in a handover period.

Angove has worked in several sales and marketing roles in the leisure industry at companies such as Holidaybreak, and Allied Domecq in addition to Merlin Entertainments Group.

Leppard said: "We are delighted that Morwenna Angove has agreed to join the team and are confident that she will lead a continued growth in both footfall and profitability, with a number of exciting developments due to be announced in early 2011."

The Chill Factore is located off junction 10 of the M60 motorway, next to the Trafford Centre.
