Cheshire industrial site changes hands

Animal feed supplier Trouw UK has sold a 6.21 acre industrial site in Wincham Industrial Estate near Northwich, Cheshire to a private investor.

The site contains 117,600 sq ft of industrial premises and a 15,300 sq ft office and was sold for £880,000.

Trouw UK has taken a lease back on 4,000 sq ft of office accommodation.

Rob Taylor of Knight Frank, advising Trouw UK, said: "We received a great deal of interest in this site as the premises benefits from fantastic links to junction 19 the M6 motorway, via the A556 Chester Road. Wincham Industrial Estate is also home to occupiers such as Renault and ICI and is one of the key industrial locations with the Northwich area. The purchaser will be occupying the premises in the short-term and has let part of the office building back to our client, allowing them to stay on site."
