Cheshire housing association welcomes chief executive

Halton Housing has announced that Liz Haworth will be joining the organisation as group chief executive.

Haworth joins from Torus, where she was chief operations and transformations officer, with responsibility for all customer facing service areas and its transformation & integration programme.

She replaces Nick Atkin, who left last year to lead Yorkshire Housing.

Halton Housing is a housing association with 7,000 homes in Cheshire.

Ingrid Fife, group board chair said: “Liz brings a wealth of experience in service transformation, people leadership and performance management from her roles within the financial sector, local government and housing organisations.

Haworth said: “I am delighted to be offered the opportunity to lead Halton Housing, an organisation and team I admire. It’s exciting to be part of its plans to evolve its business further to provide excellent modern customer service and a significant development programme.”

She will be joining the team in the summer.
