Cheshire East to tackle barriers to growth

Entrepreneurs in Cheshire have been called on to discuss ways to revitalise their businesses and boost growth.

Cheshire East Council has teamed up with developer Bruntwood to stage the event on 8 December which will aim to tackle barriers to economic growth.

Speakers include Cheshire East Council chief executive Erika Wenzel, Royal Bank of Scotland regional director Steve Sankson, AstraZeneca executive David Tuffin and BT's North West regional manager Peter Connor.

The presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

Cllr Jamie Macrae, Cheshire East Council cabinet member with responsibility for prosperity, said: "These business breakfasts aim to encourage local businessmen and women to find and develop ways to revitalise and strengthen their businesses and the wider local economy.

"I look forward to an interesting and informative meeting that aims to discuss and promote really practical solutions to the business challenges of today.

The event runs from 8-10am at Booths Park, Chelford Road, Knutsford.
